Work Location: Amsterdam
Salary: € 50K Per year
Contract: Permanent

What will you do as a Lead Development Representative?

Lead Development Representatives are responsible for a number of daily activities that enable a strong team selling environment including:

  • Qualify marketing leads according to KACE Totally Qualified Lead (TQL) standards with hand-off to KACE area sales managers;
  • Hosting weekly KACE online demonstration in cooperation with sales engineers educating KACE prospects about key product functionality;
  • Clearly communicate KACE’s value proposition over the phone by thoroughly understanding KACE’s products;
  • Overcome objections and effectively respond to prospect questions relating to KACE products, competitor products and other business or technical issues;
  • Develop a quarterly plan working with area sales managers to achieve lead qualification objectives and additional special quarterly incentives;
  • Continually optimize lists and calling strategy using KACE’s sales force automation systems;
  • Maintain close relationship with sales organization to hand-off qualified leads, schedule sales calls, and collect feedback on quality and outcome of leads;
  • Target 60 dials per day and complete administrative tasks (e.g. developing lists, processing leads, etc.) outside of territory primary dialing hours;
  • Develop quarterly MBO’s that will create tools and/or processes that make the Lead Development Rep group more effective and efficient;
  • Become completely proficient with KACE’s sales force automation system and provide detailed updates on all prospecting efforts following standard process;
  • 1Follow up on all qualified leads to update KACE’s sales force automation systems and ensure area sales manager engagement with the qualified prospect;
  • Actively participate in LDR team meetings and other meetings with the sales organization;
  • Report progress and issues in attaining quarterly objectives;
  • Achieve all lead qualification quotas and program goals set on a quarterly and annual basis, which include call volumes, and number of qualified leads.

What do we expect of a Lead Development Representative?

  • Minimum 5 years of telemarketing or telesales experience in a high-tech, business-to-business environment with outbound cold calling and appointment setting. College degree preferred;
  • Experience discussing/pitching a feature rich product;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral & written) skills;
  • Excellent knowledge of telemarketing best practices and proven qualification skills via phone;
  • Proven comfort and skill to navigate through all levels of an organization;
  • Be an energetic, enthusiastic, honest, hardworking, ambitious, and results-oriented personality who appreciates a people-focused, integrity-based, start-up environment.

Where will you work?

The Lead Development Representative is an essential part of the marketing team’s lead generation activities. (LDR)

Strong sales and communication skills are required to qualify prospects for KACE’s sales team.

The Lead Development Representative (LDR) will be assigned to a specific geographic territory and be responsible for lead generation / lead qualification to drive new business. The LDR will aggressively follow-up on inbound marketing program leads through LDR initiated calling. The LDR will also work with the Area Sales Managers / Reps, to hand-off qualified leads through thorough lead profiling and professional introductions.
